Eddie Boison (above), more commonly known as “the Cow-Bell Man” around Citi Field has been at it for 18 years. He rarely misses a game.

“It’s for bragging rights, it’s fun,” Eddie said. “It brings everybody together, you have your little animosity with family but it’s only kidding around. It’s fantastic.”

Anthony Murgatroyd (right) and John Parker (left) drove two hours in the car together from New Jersey to make it for Friday nights game. They are good friends, but when it comes to baseball— they have their differences.

“Being that Anthony’s a Mets fan – naturally, pitty is the natural emotion. That could be demeaning to him as a Mets fan but how could a Mets fan be further demeaning than being a Mets fan?” said Parker of Flemington.

“It’s kind of like the Civil War of the North and the South,” said Andrew of Holland Township. “I think we’d be the North.”
