Lawsuit alleges bias in specialized high school test

A closer look at high school admission statistics from New York City’s top schools, including Stuyvesant and Bronx High School of Science, reveal disproportionately low numbers of black and Latino students. Currently, the only way to gain entry to these schools is a single test, which students take in the eighth grade.
